Listen to what the church has become; please do not hate this
Sounds like we’ve all become denomination racists
“Oh! You’re a catholic; you’re the Baptist; makes you a ‘late-ist’”
The one body now has many faces
Different revs and religious revivals in phases
Paul’s letter to the Ephesians would not appreciate this
John would go through another Patmos to change this
‘cos the church doctrine didn’t have many pages
As it was then, so it should be now; 1 love to conquer Hades
One body, One Spirit; but some say this -
“We don’t celebrate Christmas its
Pagan worship”
When did ‘we’ become the replacement for ‘us-ship?’
Thought love was why we embraced God in relationship
& surrendered to Jesus’ Lordship
Like Judas we’ve chosen the unrighteous kiss
Broken the hedge for the dark forces
Taken up sides with them, contempt, malice & religious dis
“You wore trousers to church lady, you can’t touch this”
- ‘cos It’s Holy -
“If you don’t pray on bended knees, then u r unholy”
Bias and prejudice has become our folly
Oh! The Church has become such a gory story
So much hate within, that even the world is in worry
We now pursue doctrine, instead of God’s glory
We accuse other denominations with one finger
About ‘untrue’ doctrines; but four fingers
Point at us for judging other leaders
It is one Christ that redeemed all and the “Redeemers”
Yet the female whose hair is uncovered is an unbeliever?
Some say drums will bring in evil spirits?
So it’s just percussions; what happened to purity
in the presence of the Holy spirit?
Others claim it’s wrong to claim the trinity
Some say the church is not complete without the mother in unity
For some worship does the trick; for others? Prayer is the key
If we are one body, then why so much disparities?
Ministries springing up with nothing for ministry
So congested, the church has become ‘nuisance’ to streets
& if you do not attend mine; my disposition towards you is punitive
Even if you do, you still do not have immunity
‘Cos righteousness has ‘unrighteously’ become an award for piety
Some G.Os not understanding charity
Such that their congregations sit based on hierarchy
Like a food chain, the poor end up outside the pews
Interactions based on class and point of views
Can’t shake hands with him ‘cos he has holes in his shoes
If her colognes do not punch your lungs then you do not punch her digits
The Ambassadors are misrepresenting their nation
Tearing apart the body of Lord of all creation
The cross suffers this much humiliation
Yet the truth is avoided like tax evasion
I will speak like Isaiah & I will not tire
Unity of the church is my only desire
For in it lies the power of the Messiah
If Christ is the head on which the whole church is wired
Then he cannot penetrate the earth without his hands,
His legs, his chest, his liver, his hearts,
His lungs, his kidneys working together,
Only through Unity can we fulfil the master’s master plan
Let us do church without walls; follow God & not man
Connect & fully harness the powers of the ‘CHURCH’
The entire body without division
Be a formidable voltron
& posses the earth until the head returns.
